On Friday April 27th, police responded to a burglar alarm in the 600 block of West Shore Drive. Upon officers arrival, a rear door and window to the property were observed to be opened. After clearing the home they began checking the area for further break-ins. A neighboring home had a rear window broken by an ornamental brick, but no apparent entry had been gained. Detective Ward was then called to process the scenes of the break ins. Further investigation by Officers Newcomer, Stroby, Powell and Sgt. McClaskey led officers to two males working at a nearby construction site. The males (identified as Bryan Brown of Newfield and Dean Danenhower of Monroeville) were found to have active warrants and taken into custody. Both were taken to the station for processing and after being interviewed by Detective Ward, Danenhower was charged on warrants with two counts of Burglary and one count of theft. Both men were later transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility in default of bail.
