For the week ending April 18, 2012  , the Brigantine Police Department responded to approximately 310 calls for service, including 49 Motor Vehicle Stops/Incidents (with 10 Summonses issued and 1 arrest).

April 14th, a 22 year old California woman was arrested on outstanding warrants by Officer Devine.

April 15th, a 21 year old Galloway man was arrested on an outstanding warrant by Officer Newcomer.

Multiple complaints have come in regarding speeders along Lafayette Blvd. Much like Revere Boulevard, officers will be randomly running radar speed checks. This is your warning, slow down and obey the 25mph Speed Limit!

4×4 Permits are REQUIRED:

As a reminder, 4×4 permits are required for all vehicles operating on our beaches. Driving on the “Front Beaches” is permissible only to registered participants in fishing tournaments.

We ask for your continued vigilance and remind our residents to keep your vehicles locked!

All persons listed are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
