Police Blotter- July 25, 2012

For the week ending July 25, 2012 , the Brigantine Police Department responded to approximately 400 calls for service, including 48 Motor Vehicle Stops/Incidents (with 24 Summonses issued), 8 Traffic Accidents and 7 Domestic Disputes. Our Special Officers also issued 7 No 4×4 Permit summonses. 

July 18th: Charles Neeley (age 33 of WV) was arrested and charged with being a Fugitive from Justice by Officer Finan. 

July 20th, a 23 year old Pleasantville male was arrested on an outstanding warrant by Officer Glasser. 

July 21st: Thomas McGlinn (age 27 of Brigantine) was arrested and charged with Burglary, Receiving Stolen Property, and Theft of Moveable Property by Officer Glasser. 

July 22nd: Maryellen McCusker (age 30 of Brigantine) was arrested and charged with Burglary, Receiving Stolen Property, and Theft of Moveable Property by Officer Glasser 

July 22nd: Richard Sas (age 36 of Sayreville) was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Criminal Restraint by Officer Sweet 

July 23rd: Joseph Chermansky (age 31 of Brigantine) was arrested and charged with being a Fugitive from Justice by Sgt Hoffman. 

July 24th: Sean Harris (age 26 of Margate) was arrested and charged with Contempt of a Restraining Order, Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest by Officer Sweet. 

July 24th: a 29 year old Brigantine male was arrested on outstanding warrants by Officer Ludy         

 

We ask for your continued vigilance and remind our residents to keep your vehicles and homes locked! 

All persons listed are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
