Brigantine Christmas tree lighting set for Dec. 5 at City Hall

imagesBRIGANTINE–The city and the Brigantine Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to present the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony, which takes place 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 in front of City Hall.

Santa Claus will be arriving on a fire truck with special guests from the cast of Disney’s “Frozen” – Elsa, Anna and Olaf. A “Frozen” backdrop is being constructed, and there will be photo ops for the kids with Santa and the movie characters, so organizers encourage parents to bring a camera.

A special performance will be given by the Brigantine North School Choir and Casey’s Dance Studio. Hot cocoa and treats will be available.

All residents and their children are welcome to come out and celebrate the start of the holiday season with the arrival of Santa Claus.
